El Toro sits nicely at the top end of the Basis MTB range, boasting a lightweight Alloy crossbar frame and 27.5" suspension forks to achieve comfort, control and rider response. Gearing is taken care of by a Shimano Tourney 18 speed system, indexed using thumb shifters as opposed to more juvenile twist-grip shifters. Dual 160mm mechanical disc brakes provide confident slowing, but also improve bike control when it comes to more challenging encounters. It's certain details like the Alloy A-Head stem, updated EZ Fire gearing shifters and 2.10" MTB tyres that set the El Toro aside when it comes to entry level, affordable Mountain Bikes. Brand new and sealed in a box. This Bike will arrive to you 80% assembled. Fitment of pedals, stem handlebars, front wheel & saddle is required, as well as a general check over and tighten of all fixings on pre-assembled parts (spoke tension, crank nuts, rear wheel nuts etc). The brakes & gearing may need adjustment as part of the bicycles assembly and general servicing after initial use and throughout ownership. We strongly recommend professional assembly & servicing if you dont feel confident with bicycle mechanics.
